That was a great weekend in my hometown with some new good friends! The “Harbour Birthday” is one of the biggest events in Hamburg every year with thousands of visitors. A great crew with athletes out of different sports had fun to explore this event and Hamburg together.

Sylt Windsurf Cup
For the Windsurf Cup we traveled with our cars to Sylt . We enjoyed the windsurf action on the water and we checked out some cool places on the island. We had way to much fun during the days on the island.

I spent one week at the house of my parents to get some serious training before the big races. Also I used the time to see my old friends again.

Netherlands
That was a short trip to the Netherlands for the “Battle of the Coast”. We had two days of hard racing and a really great organized event.

Munich Area
I went to Munich a few days before the biggest SUP race in Europe. I had three really cool days with river surfing, white water SUP and nice relaxed evenings with barbecue at Lake Starnberg.

Brombachsee
That was the hardest race weekend so far this year! The “Lost Mills” at Lake Brombach. I managed to get 6th places on 200 meters, so I am seated now in the top ten of the Fastest SUP paddlers in the world. During the 18km race I did a big mistake and ended up with a bad result. All in all it was a great weekend with summer.

Hamburg Alster
Back in Hamburg for my study and some finale training for the German Champion Ships next weekend. Great that the summer is finally also in the north and the water is getting warmer every day.
